We had another doctors appointment this week and are happy to report that everything continues to be great with mom and BEAN. His heart beat -- which is possibly the best sound in the whole world -- continues to be strong and he's still measuring right on for an arrival around 9/21. The best news is that it seems as though he has turned himself around and is no longer breach!!
I'm getting bigger by the day, so although I can't believe he'll be here in just 8 weeks, I also can't believe that we still have 8 more weeks to continue to grow! The pregnancy website I follow compares BEAN's size this week to a squash! Only two fruit sizes left to go on the website's chart -- EEK!
In preparation for BEAN's arrival, Mark and I took our Baby Classes through the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where we will deliver. Overall, we had some great things to say about the classes and some things that we wish we wouldn't have had to hear. i.e. They tell you wwwaaaaayyyy too many things that could possibly go wrong in delivery. We both said that we'd rather just cross that bridge if we get there rather than worry about it now. Nevertheless, we're more prepared (HA!) and we have just one class left in August where we will get a tour of Labor and Delivery!Mark and I also went to look at our first Day Care Center. We looked at a place called Tender Years and is located right next door to Mark's office. We thought it was a nice place. Granted we aren't exactly sure what we're looking for and personally we have nothing to compare it to. We have a few friends who have kiddos who go there and really like it. We hope to look at at least one more center located on the Medical Center campus, just so we have something to compare it to.
