Little bundle #2 is expected to make his arrival into the world in just two days. So we've been busy preparing for the new arrival and taking advantage of doing some things that we probably won't have the opportunity to do for a while after the little guy arrives.

Mimi and Papa even came this past weekend to play with Grant and watch him so Mark and I could go to dinner for our anniversary - by ourselves! It was really nice to be out and enjoy a meal without cutting up someone else's food, cleaning chocolate milk off the table or reminding them to keep their feet off the table, ha!

Overall, I think Grant is ready to be a big brother.

And I'm certainly ready to not be pregnant any longer. Overall this pregnancy went by super fast. But I forgot how "fun" the last few weeks can be. And although I'm ready to meet this little guy, I'm just not so sure that I'm ready to take care of a newborn again. And I'm a little (okay a LOT) anxious about the c-section and recovery. Thank goodness for friends and family, especially my mom, who will be helping us out a lot over the next month of transitions with the new baby and the move and my aunt who will be coming to stay with us for the next few days to help with Grant-man while we're in the hospital.
I have to keep telling myself to not sweat the small stuff and to accept help from everyone in the ways that they know how to give it. This is a little hard for me... because well... I'm a little Type A. :)

Well, the next post will include the newest member of our family. We will be accepting all positive thoughts and prayers for a healthy delivery for baby and mommy!
